If you asked 10 people the definition of innovation – you would likely get 10 different answers, with some being wildly different. We continue with our month-long INNOVATION Theme. Our aim is to make innovation real in your life. Today, I cannot be more excited to welcome Al Monserrat. In the dictionary, next to the word Innovation, is a picture of Al. Al is truly a career technology and organizational innovator.
Al Monserrat's background: Out of college, Al started in the technology arena, steadily progressing through several technology-focused companies – such as Accenture, Res Software, Nuance Communication, and ACI Worldwide. Al’s work at Citrix included leading worldwide sales and service. But then, Al took his innovation focus to the next level. Today, Al is an investor. Al deploys private capital, including the capital of Corten Capital, an investment firm. Past and present, Al has served on the board of many innovative companies, including Login VSI, Matrix 42, Itopia, Seacoast Bank, Momentum Consulting, HYCU, and Auxis.
