Romans 5:2-4
And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
AntiFragile / resilience - much as the evolution operates to preserve our DNA for future generations.
Suffering => perseverance => character => hope
Also, a positive feedback loop as hope strengthens us to handle future suffering
Deuteronomy 1:20-22
20 Then I said to you, “You have reached the hill country of the Amorites, which the Lord our God is giving us. 21 See, the Lord your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Risk taking produces resilience. “That which doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”
